On the first Thursday of each month, several of the insanely delicious Durham food trucks gather in our neighborhood park. This little gathering is full of young families, is crawling with children and dogs, and is aptly called First Thursdays. Did I ever mention how charming our neighborhood is? No? WELL NOW YOU KNOW. Since the weather last Thursday was amazing, we decided to walk down to the park and grab some dinner with our good pals Liz + Micah. The park is almost exactly the halfway point between our (very close together) homes. We literally popped a squat on the fake curb in front of the swing set to chow down on our various delicacies. Liz ate 2 scoops of ice cream (for dinner) from our favorite ice cream truck, Parlour. Micah had Only Burger, Willie had Pie Pushers pizza, and I had pork dumplings from the Chirba Chirba dumpling truck. All in all, it was a very good evening... and we plan on revisiting this many times over the summer and into the fall. Durham, you are so very lovely.
