This band, First Aid Kit, has been getting crazy buzz for awhile. Mainly around here since they're on Wichita Records, which is distributed through Redeye, which is who owns the label I work for here in North Carolina. But I hadn't paid much attention until sweet Jamie sent this song to my inbox. It breaks my heart. And how sweet is her voice? Not to mention this video isn't doing much to quell that pull inside me that is always callin' me west to Joshua Tree. Gram and I need to meet officially. Maybe I should add that to my list of New Year's Resolutions.

you gotta get out to joshua tree. i just stayed at joshua tree inn, and while the whole "spirit of gram rests here" was a little much for me, the inn is actually wonderful and affordable. you'd love it.
